Procedure Description:
Urometric testing

What To Expect:
Brief catheterization of your bladder to measure urinary volumes and flow, bladder contractions, etc., and a careful pelvic and rectovaginal examination to ascertain pelvic support problems. You may experience some pressure during exam.

Preprocedure:
No pre-procedure preparation is required. We will prep your urethra with Betadine; if you are allergic to topical iodines, will will use benzalkonium chloride solution instead.

Postprocedure:
You will be able to resume all your normal activities immediately.
